On Tuesday while I was working on my computer, Melia was playing on the floor next to me. She stood up and said "Mom, I swallowed a watch battery." I called poison control to see what I'm supposed to do. They told me to go get an x-ray. I really wish that could keep a copy of x-rays. It was interesting to see a perfect metal circle in my daughter’s stomach.
The battery came out yesterday and we have had many talks about what we can eat and what we can't.
You could have kept it in her then when she collapsed on the floor, you would know she just needed a recharge. You could walk thru the metal detectors and see all ther security guys get excited. I bet she got a charge out of that. A very positive experience. I got a charge out of it myself. Kind of like assult and bettery!!! Don't let the family services know. Thanks for this fun experience.
