NYC Pictures
The trip started off with Corryn in her pjs pulling her new luggage bag at Union Station.
That first day we also walked around Centeral Park. It was too cold to go to the zoo so we just went to the gift shop.

The Empire State Building
One of the things we've been looking forward to the most about going to New York City was visiting the Empire State Building.
Corryn's favorite bedtime story is about her grandpa climbing the Empire State Building. We were just about finished with our visit when Corryn and I started talking about how hard it would be to climb up the building. It was then that it dawned on her where we were.
"Hey...this is just like the story!!!!"
It was fun to see her realize what we had been talking about all those nights at bedtime.
Corryn liked looking down from the observation deck...as long as we were inside. It was too windy outside...as this picture of Corryn's mom demonstrates:

The Mannings are in New York!

My Literal Daughter
Corryn asked me for some Wiggle Treats (gummy treats in the shape of the Wiggles). She had already had one today so I told her no. She knew that I had some in my Primary bag. She asked if she could get them. I told her I didn’t want her to get into my bag. She looked at me all confused and said, “I’m to big to get into your bag!”

Valentine's Day
On Valentine's Day we decided to go bowling with our friends the Olsons. It was a lot of fun. I came in second place the first game and second to last on the second game. I even got beat by the kids!!!!
