Cassandra's First Day Video

This video begins right when Cassandra was taken to the nursery. It then jumps to right after her first bath then to her first meeting with her big sisters.

Cassandra Margaret Manning

Ok...I'm home for the night and I have pictures (and maybe some video).

I'll do the pics first and the video in a few minutes if I can get it uploaded quickly.

We played quite a few games of Yahtzee while waiting for Cassandra to come. When the doctor finally arrived and Lisa had endured a few painful contractions we were ready to really get down to business. The doctor asked Lisa some questions and joked around a bit when Lisa finally yelled at him and said she wanted to get this done. I smiled...then laughed when after he left the room to get ready she said, "Less chat more splat."

Cassandra was born at 5:39 PM. You can see her dimensions below (thanks Michael!)...here is a picture of her taking her first breath.

She has a great set of lungs. Here she was preparing to yell at all of us when she was taken away from her mom to get toweled off.

She finally got her first bath and also her first portrait...

...and her first mugshot for hospital records.

Finally she was able to return to her family where she met her sweet sisters for the first time.

They are excellent big sisters...but even they know that a third kid is going to be a handful. I'm sure they will be a great help to Cassandra...they can't wait for her to come home!
