When I got to my first day at OAK Management I was very impressed I got my own office. I than started to wonder if I had gotten in "over my head" with this job. When I got overwhelmed with new information, I was sure it wasn't going to work out.
When I got my picture ID, all I could think was the line "To the pain" from the Princess Bride.
Towards the end of the day I was getting the new acronyms down and was getting the impression that it will work out. "I can do this, I got it." It was just frustrating that I wasn't clear on what I was hired to do. The requirements were just not very clear.
Before I left for the day, the lead developer told me that from my resume he thought I knew everything. "What? Hey - I can do this job." So, the truth comes out. What did they really want me to do?
