Grandpa’s house

I remember I used to love to go to Grandpa’s house but something changed and I am not really sure what it was. I call it Grandpa’s house because Grandma got more recognition in the prime of her golden years.

I just learned that my parents sacrificed their cut of the house to appease my Aunt’s interest in the old house and that my little brother is taking it over. I’m not sure how I feel about that at all.

I do wish I could have bought the house and the neighboring one, knocked them both down and built anew. The neighboring lot is huge.

Lisa and I were thinking about buying that house too. I think our visit may have been what spurred your brother into speaking up. I'm glad it is staying in your family. It is actually a pretty cool house. A great example of typical suburban arcitecture of the 50's to 60's. I especially like the way the downstairs bathroom is decorated. I hope they don't change it...or ate least take lots of pictures before they destroy that work of art!
