Cleaver girl

I love to watch Corryn as she exercises her growing intellect. Is that fair to say? I mean it is not really a matter of learning anew but more of remembering.

Anyway, the other day when I was babysitting, I didn’t want to hang around the house. I convinced Corryn that she wanted to leave too. Outside, she saw the car and said “In the car?”

“No, “ I moaned. “Not in the car.”

Corryn gave me a look like she wanted to say, “Why not in the car?

“I don’t have the keys.” I explained.

She stopped. “Keys?”, she asked as she turned back to the house as if she were to go get them.

I picked her up. “Oh no, we’re not going back in there.”

Sad will be the day when she learns how worthless I am when it comes to driving. This is a sensitive issue and I hope to address it in my trouble with siblings post.
