Bethesda

I found the definition of Bethesda in the Bible Dictionary the other day. Hey, I thought. There is a Bethesda, Maryland. I googled it up and found the city web page Bethesda.org.

I had an interview there. I laughed then, and I laugh now. The interviewer said I was asking for too much. I think I am getting more than I asked him for with my current job.

Anyway, looks like it was named after a church. The site also stated the Friendship Heights metro stop is the heart of the city and it very well may be. There is an Embassy Suites there at that mall/metro stop. It was a very nice mall called Chevy Chase Pavilion.

Funny I went to embassy suites web site and noticed they used a whole separate address. Marketing the DC area and staying clear of the whole Maryland issue?

Once I got out of the downtown area I was in a dumpy area. It took over an hour to get to and from my interview because cabs stink and the building was not clearly marked. It looked like it was condemned. Than again, the whole block did.

Maryland is a hole. That was my second experience there and neither ware positive in any respect.
