ISTC

No tale of the DisneyWorld vacation can be complete without the tale of the Mission: SPACE ride at Epcot.

This ride was awesome!!! It was a simulation of a rocket launched, space mission to Mars. We were part of the International Space Training Center (ISTC) for the day. It was a life-like changing event for the day and possibly the entire week!

Epcot is pretty boring I think and this particular morning was not starting out as a very pleasant one and this time Jonathan wasn't around on whom I generally blame my irritation on.

This ride set me straight. I had a great time that day and the rest of the trip. Lisa-Marie, however, got sick and never seemed to recover.

We tried to make a quick run a second time a few days later, but the line was longer than expected and they were having technical difficulties. Oh well, I didn’t want to take away from my first experience!

I thought the ride was ok...but I felt a bit sick after it was over too. Not my favorite but it sure was better than "Arabian Nights"!!!
