I recently got a 2003 copy of the Church Almanac. The last, and first, one I got covered a lot on the pioneers. 1997 was an interesting year. Going over the brief news pieces, it seems like that last couple years have been interesting too.
I wanted to get the book so I could look up some facts. If there can only be a few 100,000 more members of the Church in California, I would have to declare that it can no longer be known as a Utah Church.
I wasn’t able to share this book at work, but I was able to lend out the Ensign that was dedicated to Temples. I’m not sure what they all thought about it, but I hope it answered some questions. I was kind of impressed how eagerly the magazine was sought after. I make it sound better than what it was.
