The other day General Dynamics came up. This company sounded familiar. In fact, I think I interviewed with them in Roy, UT next to Hill Air Force Base.
I remember wanting this job so bad. I remember being told I was one of two candidates to be selected. Or was that L-3 communications? I can't remember. No wait that was Lite Touch?
Anyway, I was finally told the position had not been filled and may be in the future. Well, I never heard back and now I am close to their headquarters. I should call them up and say "Here I am, when do I start?"
Posted by Michael at January 30, 2004 08:22 PMI was so tempted to call the EEOC on L-3. I actually did and they referred me to Utah's state authorities. I couldn't get myself to call them although I could present good arguments against them for their actions during the interview and on the phone... My Uncle works there and I didn't want to further the chasm between the two families.
LiteTouch did fill the job. I think I was also one of two. I think I ran into them later at some Microsoft event. The guy whom I would have been working with was quite sad I had not got a, or the job, I'm not sure. Anyway, I presume the guy who got the job was the rather jubilant guy that was also there with him.
