I watched this show last night. I like it for its story telling ability, James Earl Jones, and because I have some good memories of the movie. I think the story is kind of strange, but it is exaggerated a bit as I suppose any good story would be.
Years ago, I first went to Movies 8, the dollar theater, to see the movie with a lovely, young, blonde haired lady whose name I wish I could remember. Better yet, I wish I could remember why I never asked her out again. I used to call my little brother "smalls" after seeing the movie. I could relate to that kid in the movie somewhat because I was never good at playing baseball.
Jones had some grey hair in this film. I wonder why I never noticed before.
