I guess I should say why I liked it. Well one reason was the start up gag about the universe. The view of the Simspson family starts out with them on the couch. Then like a camera zooming out, you saw the Simpson house, Springfield, Kentucky (probably), the United States, North America, Earth, the Solar System, the Milkyway galaxy, some weird streams or strands which I presume meant string theory…
The view just kept going backward. Then those strands started to look like double helix strands of DNA, and then it looked like a hair follicle, Homer’s head and then finally back to the Simpson family.
I said “wow” because the universe converged back onto itself. I figure that would happen if you could travel far enough in one direction, of course not like that gag... Then Homer said “wow”. You know you watch too much of the Simpson’s when you sound like homer.
