When I wrote about the basketball game, I thought about the Shumway boy. He was one of the three I can remember who were on the team. I was 13, a year older than the three friends so I guess you could say I never really associated with them.
Anyway, I remembered something I heard when I was kid. I think it was a talk in Church that one of the Shumway’s had given. They had mentioned there were a lot of Shumways from Snowflake, AZ. I thought it was odd that one of the hottest states has a city named snowflake.
I like the architecture of the temple there. I didn’t make it to my brother’s wedding. I would have liked to have gone. Oh well, I guess there is another place I’d like to go one day.
