I put in a good 12 hour work day. 6 at my real job and 6 at the Cannery which should be my real job I suppose. Thank goodness it isn’t. It is a very tiresome work. I think the shift was longer than what I did in Utah. In fact, it was twice as long.
But the cannery in Lindon, UT didn’t have a Bishop’s Storehouse attached to it.
I later went to Institute for some silly reason I suppose. (She wasn’t there. Well, I didn’t see her but that doesn’t mean much.) I felt I did more good at the Cannery than sitting there at the Church.
Anyway, I figure we did around 3,000 cans. My job was to load empty cans onto the conveyor belt. There were about 15 x 20 cans per row and I stacked about 10 rows off the thingy.
Posted by Michael at March 23, 2004 10:36 PMIt was about 5 hours at the Cannery. They told us to include travel time when we signed out.
There was probably more than 3,000 cans. The thingy was dropped by the forklift.
