Earliest Memories

I thought I had posted the story about digging for potatoes with my grandfather behind his ward building, but I couldn’t find it. I told him that I remembered that and he was quite taken back because the field has been paved over for 20 some odd years now.

I remember going to Regal Lanes – which is now a grease ball for the student population and those so inclined. While my Mom would bowl on her little league, I remember we went to the day care center there.

I remember my grandparents orange Datson station wagon. Prior to that car, I remember they had a blue and gray truck. It broke down once and we had to pick grandpa up. I think that was around the time he got hurt at work, Geneva Steel.
