Traveling with siblings II

Many years ago, my youngest brother wanted to be like grownups I guess. He emptied his pockets at the security check point. Finding nothing to place all his items in he put everything on the conveyer belt and walked on.

Dad and l exchanged looks as if we both expected someone to say something. Um whatever, I thought as the airport scanner person didn’t say anything. I walked through the metal detector.

When my brother's stuff came out on the other end, the belt wrapped around allowing items in front to slide onto a series of rollers. Well, all that change hit the rollers and fell to the ground with a clatter.

They had to shut down the machine momentarily while all the coins where picked up.
