Sunburned

Erin, an attractive young PR intern from Logan Utah, caught up with me first. We talked for a while because Dave was a bit late.

I jokingly said Dave worked for the President because the shirt he was wearing had the Presidential Seal on it. It was the first time I’d meet him too.

We all walked around for a while, toured two of the three boats, then Erin left. I was torn with the urge to go with her and my other plans. Dave and I got a canoe and went out for a while. It was scary. I hate water and yet I love the old wooden ships?

I left Dave and walked along the dock behind the torpedo factory. Someone had a nice yacht and I saw the sailing tall ship up close. OK it was about 200 feet awry as it sailed by.

I was reminded that there is a ferry to Mount Vernon from there. The ferry covers the entrance fee as well. I was going to go last year, but I learned about the ferry after the summer was over…

I ate at this Pizza place on King Street. After which, I went to the movies to watch Around the World in 80 Days. It was a silly movie, but I knew it was going to be before I went in.
