One night, long after the sun had gone down my Dad had everyone down in the new addition. I think he wanted to secure the supporting wall before he was going to call it a day.
Grandpa relayed the order for a hammer. All the kids scrambled around in the dark. As l tried to recall where I had seen the hammer last, I pointed my flashlight towards Grandpa.
''Um." I started to speak ''The hammer is in your hand."
Somewhat embarrassed, Grandpa handed up the hammer to my Dad.
