I recently discovered that James E. Talmage’s book in MP3 format is online on the Church’s web site. I’ve been listening to a chapter a day.
I tired to read the book on different occasions, but never could pay attention long enough. Once, while in Morgan City, this member asked to barrow it. I never got it back. She gave me a tie I still wear today; I guess it was an even trade.
The book is very informative, interesting, and insightful. It has encouraged me to load the rest of the standard works on my toy and start rereading them.
