I went to Yahoo! Finance to look up who had the more Market Capitol: Pepsi or Coca-Cola? I noticed the stock ticker CSG for Cadbury Schweppes. I had to go look them up.
I noticed they listed 7-up. What? Where did Pepsi come in? There was a note at the end of the page.
Dr Pepper/Seven Up Inc owns and licenses 7 Up within the 50 United States, Guam and Puerto Rico. Outside of these territories, the rights to the product are owned by the Pepsi Cola Company.
I went to Pepsi's products and had to search for Sierra Mist. For some reason, I went to Coca-Cola's product line of drinks. I noticed Barq's and Tab where listed among them.
I did some research on Tab, my Grandma used to drink this all the time. I found this Lundy family site. It interested me that a US flag was next to the Norwegian flag. I had to look at the family tree where I noted a posible relation to a name of some ansestors.
Anyway to make a long search-story short, according to Yahoo! Coca-cola had
more market capitol. Why all this interests me in the first place?
