I like busy days, especially when I feel I accomplish something. And/Or at least something good happens.
I did get a few good email messages. One regarding my charity date later this week. I call it that because I was told “not interested but would be willing to get to know you better as friends...”
I figured what the heck and decided to take her up on the offer. She then started to "demand" that her brother double with us. Ok, it was just a request.
What? Last time that happened (doubling with someone's brother), the girl I took out, married a “friend”. It was crazy; she was crazy; her brother was even more crazy. I think we saw The Road to El Dorado (2000).
Anyway, I know this exceptionally pretty, Virginia native's brother and tried to set up a time and what. I hate coordinating schedules, but I figured it was better than sitting at home doing nothing.
When she could not go on the first night I chose, I picked a second while keeping her brother updated. She wasn't sure the second night was all that great either. With that, I threw in the towel... whatever... you want to go? You plan the [dang] thing!
She suggested Wednesday which I thought of doing before I gave up. With my busy schedule, I had trouble fitting it in, but still had no desire to plan it further. “Let me know what time?” Was pretty much the last thing I said... and now I got the reply today… sweet! At least we are going.
