The latest in my favorite lines of rejection is "I can't go out with you because I am studying for the GRE." I guess it is not so much of a rejection line, but more of a turn down line... whatever... that is not the point.
I have heard that line twice in the last few weeks now. Both women didn't not have a plan for what they wanted to study or where. That just seemed silly. The second time I heard it, I figured that was a lame way to tell me to take a hike. I assumed she would "tell me off", but I took the risk anyway.
I guess the test is only given at certain times. So, I guess I should get over this seasonal rejection notice?
