A couple years ago, I went to someone's house. The name of the owner of the house sounded familiar. When I got to the place I was greeted by someone who I swear I never met.
It was quite awkward. Finally, she gave up trying to get me to remember that we briefly met a month earlier.
I learned from that moment that it is better to play along. I can find out later who the person was. Well, at least I try to make it less awkward for the other person. I need some kind of memory upgrade.
