Greatest Pickett House party to date

Maybe ever? It was great; over 80 showed... There was a couple parties going on that night so there were people coming and going all night.

I don’t like planning parties on my own because I only get disappointed when few if anyone shows up, so I thought it would be cool to do a joint party.

I leaned an attractive young lady had the same birthday as me, so I asked her. I admit I entertained the idea that it was more to make me look good or at least get closer to her. Big mistake?

After being rejected, the party plans went dormant. I soon learned of other June b-day and asked her. She hesitated because of the same reasons about doing all the planning… but she went along assuming that between us more might show up and make uit worthwhile.

We talked about trying to get Jen on board. She is amazing and guaranteed to attract lots of people, but we overheard she did not like being bothered so much… After sending out the evites, she contacted me saying her roommate had a birthday in june too and wated to join us.

Excelent! I was still a bit worried that there would not be enough food. I know I had not done much planning.. I think there was more left over than what I put into it!

There are great pictures. A beautiful lady, whom I kissed that night, took them. Here is another album. Also, here is a blog entry by Jen’s roommate about the party.

MJ, if you ever come back to Utah again for anything, let me and Heinee know (heinee@wnsi.net) and we will buy you dinner. You pick the place and we'll be there.

Take care man.
