Every zone in GLBRM back in 1995 made either a short movie or put on a play. I tried to convert the VHS to a digital recording once but the files were too big and I didn’t really know what I was doing. Recording plays don’t do it justice either.
Anyway, our zone did a spin off Wayne’s World. I thought it was pretty clever. I just saw the original movie. Elder Wayne and Elder Garth.
Another zone did a COPS–like show where the APs would bust “off the Plan” missionaries. That was pretty funny.
The best play was probably the Lehi story. I thought it was fun that Nephi went willingly back to Jerusalem except when they were to get Ishmals family. Lamen and Lemuel had to drag Nephi…
Another zone did a Star Trek – like play. Their ship was called the USS Baptize or something. Their mission? To boldly go where no missionary had gone before... To seek out new investigators…
Oh, I almost forgot the video on health and safety tips. If a beverage of floaties is served to you, dump it out secretly. If mystery meat is severed (A.K.A. road kill), use the special disposal bags provided by the mission office. Tracks make good TP when something unsettling is digested and emergencies arise.
