One thing great about Dan Brown's book was the interest in the places, myths, and other points of interest mentioned. For me, it was the Louvre Pyramid. I'd like to see it but I have no intention to go to Paris... Thanks to the Internet I do not have to leave my desk to see it.
I heard of I. M. Pei on the Simpson's. Curious, I tried to look up this place he designed. Not knowing French, I had to look up pictures.
I also thought it was interesting the reference to Phi. I'm curious to try some of the tests to measure stuff...
