I like to look ahead when I read books and fast forward through movies... Just get to the good stuff. Well, I have looked a few things up while listening to
the Disney War book. Sometimes, I have stumbled across future pieces of the
story.
I wanted to know where Michael Eisner was now. He came across so differently than the nice pleasant guy I remembered from the Wonderful World of Disney intros. The book mentions that he does have charm at times, but these intros were staged by a personal director...
How did he ever get the top job at Disney... oh wait, that was in the book.
What company would be dumb enough to have him on the board after the Disney incident? Veoh? Only a lame company I guess.
What happened to Michael Owitz, who is more wealthy than I ever will be so I don't feel too sorry for, seemed to have been screwed by Disney or Eisner. He was a great deal maker, but was hampered many times by Disney. Sounds like Owitz is just relaxing now...
And Roy Disney? Looks like he is doing well.
Jeffery Katzenberg seemed like a jerk on his own, but he seems to be doing
very well With DreamWorks and all. I do admire all the good shows he helped come out.. like the Lion King.
