F# and Comega?

I started to read this article before I read the author was from Prague. After I learned where he was from, the rather choppy English started to stand out. Note the misuse of the words: "the" and "a", etc.

The content of the article was equally baffling. Who thinks up names like ?

So they added a Variant type to C#? Was not that the biggest thing VB.Net was trying to get rid of? VB6, VBScript use Variant types. Now the .Net is going back to them?
