And they wanted me to come in yesterday
I left the house early, and was tempted to stop in at work for an hour. Glad I decided against that, I really did not want to be late.
I got to old City Hall to find all kinds of merchants selling their goods. i also went to CVS which deserves it's own post. Anyway, I waited around in the park reminiscing of earlier memories.
I went on this Archaeological history walking tour of the water front. The weather started to turn very nice. I was surprised there was so many interested in the tour.
On the way home from the tour, i got a text message regarding garden tours of the White House. I was on my way to stop in at work, but thought to take advantage of such an opportunity.
I tried to call my Dad to rub it in. I should get better pictures from some people I ran into while there. I only had my cell phone camera, but this image is recognizable.
On the way back to Alexandria when I again thought to stop in at work, but my roommate called to ask when we were going shopping.... I wanted to go before Stake Conference anyway.
After the great meeting, there was a party at the house. What a day indeed. I hope those who did go in to work had lots of fun....
