Another reason to dislike CVS is that all the myriad of stores out here seem to be separate entities. Or the pharmacist did not understand my request.
I have been putting off getting this prescription filled. I was going to go to CVS to do this. This is the only reason I go to lousy store. My past experiences have not been all that great.
I refuse to get a lame card just so I can feel like I am saving money. I think the other time the cashier was being a punk...
Anyway, I went into the CVS in Old Town with an inquiry. Like banks, you can go to any branch and get the same service. I wanted to know if I could drop off my prescription here and pick the filled prescription at the one closer to my place of residence.
It would have been a simple transfer of info...The lady looked at me as, unfortunally a lot of people do at times, like I was some kind of retard. I didn't want to try to explain, but I look back and should have flipped her off. Just for a dramatic scene. (OK, not really. That would have been silly.)
"You'll still have to wait." was her argument.
For what? By the time I got to the other store later that day, it would be filled. Am I the only one that has ever requested this or do I need to call it be some lame term like when you try to order something at a fast food place.
See at McDonald's you can get a cheese burger by ordering a cheese burger. At Wendy's it is a Jr. Cheese burger. At Burger King? A cheese burger Jr. I lost my patience at some place once... it is hard for me to read the menu sometimes. "Just give me a damn cheese burger and call it what ever the hell you want."
