It was an adventure getting my phone back. I called via the Internet the moment I realized it was still in this guys car. No response. I got a hold of his wife and told them to send me an email so I could call them back to work out something. I left messages.
I waited for an email for two hours. I told them I could get the phone the next morning. I got an arrogant response a half hour after I stopped waiting.
The guy gives me the impression of one of those government workers that can't get fired... I work with a few now. Well, used to.
Anyway, he said his family was leaving early. You don't want to play that game with me. I'll be at your bed side before you wake up!
I called my friend and told him that we should go earlier then the reasonable 9am as put in the email. We had the wrong address but fortunately they lived in the same compound. The security guard called ahead. Well, I called earlier and left a message.
I had to get buzzed in the building too but the number was busy? Some guy walked out and I grabbed the door. He questioned if i lived there and just flashed the paper I got from the guard. "Here to pick something up."
Got to the apartment, and got my phone from his wife. Saw a bunch of kids in the background.
As I walked away, I remembered my alarm on the phone is set for 5:45am. I smiled. I hope it woke them up.
