I toured the world yesterday. It was fun. Walked from Australia to Iraq. Stopped in at Peru, Argentina, Venezuela, Micronesia, Madagascar, Trinidad, South Korea, and Paraguay.
I thought it was lame I had to have a reservation for Japan. So I walked away. They didn't have a gate so I wondered where the embassy started. I also wondered other legal issues and stuff like utilities and garbage collection.
I walked past India because the line was super long, but on the way back I noticed there was no line and went inside and got some food. I ate it on the steps to the front door. Across the street were protesters and at least one hunger strike person.
I thought it rather funny that giving away food to people who are not starving was a statement to the protesters who were saying the Government of India were ignoring their own starving people.
One such protester was awfully close to the embassy and I wondered if that was legal or even wise. Either way, I walked by and wished them good luck.
I admit it was rather interesting to go to Iraq. Seemed like really nice people. It was weird that their embassy was right by a huge, ugly christian cathedral. It was also weird to think we were at war with people in that country. I also admit there were some very beautiful women there.
I missed a bunch of other countries, but I guess there is always next year.
