Week in review

After the fiasco on Tuesday regarding a boat, I wasn't sure how the shooting activity would go down. It was fun, but I fell my eyes are getting worse. Plus, I have been shooting wrong all this time.

OK, I was shown a better way to hold the hand gun.

Went to a going away party for a gal who is in Uganda right now I suppose. She wants to save the world. Good for her.

My friend who has been in Jerusalem for the last 8 months or so, came to work for lunch. It was good to see him again.

Tonight an old flame invited me to her place for a movie.... I'll have to bring Rambo or something!

Played with Windows services today. Just like a computer nerd? Hey, it was fun. :)

PAC Security

I was on a public accessible computer the other day as I occasionally am. I always check to see if anyone allowed their login info to be saved by the browser. I was shocked to find two! The second guy should have seen that his info might be saved. (I often skip the message box prompting the user to save.)

After reviewing their email, I logged out and deleted their saved logins.

I was tempted to email them and explain the security risk but I didn't want to get in trouble.

Stupid GMail

I guess you get what you paid for. Lately GMail has been down. Well, the normal site anyway. I have had to get to my email from a round about way.

Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Similar Buildings

It was kind of eerie to walk around a church building that was similar like one I had visited many years ago and hundreds of miles apart. I know the newer stake centers are designed the same but this building was before this new design.

I was asked where a certain room was.

"Well", I said. "If it is anything like the building back home, it will be over here."

And it was.

Come to think of it, I might have been in another building like this one. Well, I do recall the chapel looked very similar if nothing else. I suppose you can find a lot of similarities if you look close enough.

Lord's University

I'm not one who say it is BYU. Far from it. Where much is required, the smallest of sins would be the greatest condemnation? People are just as fallible there as anywhere else.

I was listening to Chapter 1 of Kimball's book on my iPod. He mentioned that coming to earth was like going to school. Certain institutions can only take you so far... you need a higher education.

That was where I made the connection to Hunter's talk about temples. Pretty neat fact.

Busy days

Lately I have felt busier yet, like the weekend, most events weren't planned. I still have a bunch that I keep putting off. Well, I should get to work. i believe there is a good email waiting for me. I tried to login from home but I forgot the password.

Too bad, I would have like to read it in private....

Oh well.

Kids book; sexy author

I got this email the other day. From a very attractive woman, whom I was able to take out a year ago or so. The happy moment lingered on for sometime. I felt bad when I went out with someone else shortly after but was so preoccupied with the first woman's memory that I barely focused appropriate attention.

I tried to make it up to the second woman many times. last night I thought was the best. My only regrets was that I didn't get a kiss or a solid follow up date.

Anyway, I was going to plug this person's book. I got her email saying she published it under a false name.

Title: Whenever I hear…
Author: Clara W. McMaster
Illustrator: Madeline Elsey (aka me)
Publisher: Leatherwood Press
Available online at deseretbook.com
Or at your local LDS bookstore

There you go...

I like the second lady better; she gives me some attention. Just wish she'd communicate with me more. Kissing is a form of communication. :)

Beast II

This guy, or should I say Beast, at work has sealed it's fate; it is dead to me. I refuse to acknowledge it. It was rude to me from Day 1. Fortunately I don't work with it. Unfortunately, I work next to it.

No wonder the cranky, flatulent, potty mouth beast doesn't appear to be married. The description alone should explain enough.

I have never seen a grown beasty throw a tantrum like the one this morning. Wow, is there a cage big enough. Or can I shoot it and put me out of this misery?

Happy New Year 2008

Spent the night with some friends. It was a low key event. Found out that there was of course a party of which I was not invited. I had fun where I was, besides the woman I wanted to be with was out of town. :)

It was a little cold to be outside pretending to enjoy the crowds and the fireworks.

Got wind of a brunch this morning. Of course, I'm going to show up. It'll be quite a shock to those I'm sure didn't want to invite me.:)
