Wes Clark–”We’re Not Killing Enough Babies”

Wes Clark says there should be absolutely no legal restrictions on Abortion for any reason…up to and including the moment the child’s head shows as he is being born. Wes says if the woman doesn’t want the baby the doctor should be allowed to kill it.

Does Wesley in his heart of hearts really believe this? Probably not…but this is further proof that he is willing to say absolutely anything to gain power. Wesley Clark’s take on abortion is just like his publicly stated comments on most other topics…completely manufactured to provide immediate political gain. This guy is a slimy fellow even as far as politicians are concerned.

I still say with many reservations: Vote Lieberman! (even though I hate most of the stupid things he supports…on the whole he is probably more fiscally conservative than Bush and he isn’t a completely looney on foreign policy like the other Democrats)

Bush needs to go but sensible foreign policy needs to stay.

  1. You are quoting distorted, third-hand, unnamed sources who spout garbage because they fear Clark’s popularity with thinking people. Ask the question of Clark, personally, through correspondence.

  2. I don ‘t know…that interview was published in a favorable article about Clark in the New Hampshire Union Leader. It seems pretty legit to me.

Here’s a link to the primary source:

I know you like the guy but to read a quote from him and pretend that it was never said because it is abhorrent is kind of silly. Like I said in my entry…I don’t know that he really believes this…he might not. He might just be saying this just to appeal to the leftist democrats he needs to get the nomination. My point isn’t that he is a monster (although if he really does believe that it is ok to kill a baby as it is being born he is) but that he has proven in the past that he’ll say absolutely anything whether he believes it or not to gain power. That isn’t the kind of guy I’d vote for.

  3. For myself I have always been pro-life and I feel that there are plenty of choices available without abortion being one of them. The other night I was sitting on my porch looking at the stars and pondering the awesome Creater of that beautiful scene and out of nowhere really the thought came to me about free agency and abortion, it really is a God given right to choose to murder or not to. God didn`t stop Cain or the Death/Murder of his own son, in the end WE KNOW who they will have to account to.
