I'm not saying that what happened to Phil and the kid is excusable; I'm wondering what exactly happened to Phil and the kid. It is, in Ciceronean terms, a Question of Fact rather than a Question of Quality. Given what we know about him, I dunno if we can trust his account. And I wonder if people might not be reading the photograph a bit too - if you'll pardon the term - liberally. I'm skeptical. SAS again!

I keep an open mind both to the right and the left. But a father bringing his 3 year old daughter to 'campain event' for their democratic vice results to this. Good lord, how can anyone justify this. Maybe he chose bad judgement or was 'using her as a shield' but what has happened to 'judgement' what the hell damage did this father and daugter really do to the rally. i.e. NOTHING. Dont defend it, and dont offer any sort of 'understanding' about how it come to be. As a father of a 2 and 4 year old would I subject them to this to the this extent, no. But would i be absolutely appaled by the others reaction. Hell yes! In a functional democracy 'hatred' is not a factor. Its about the issues. More importantly were the person going for POTUS stands on the issues that we face. To see this kind of crap justified by either party makes me sick. It just adds to my feveer of what the hell happened to our electoral system. And further more what the HELL are these people doing to pursue there political agenda. I long for the day when civil political discussions become commonplace again.... You have got to be kidding…
