Wow…now this is just cruel. I almost feel sorry for the guy.

I love the campaign season because the ads are so fun to watch (obviously I’m talking about the mean ones). It is too bad that the best the Dems can come up with is Bush’s slacking while in the National Guard. I really liked the Move-On.Org commercial that aired during the State of The Union Speech this year. Where are the people who made that one? Why are they being so quiet now?

  1. Don’t worry, they’ve got more good ones in the works, and I expect they’ll be out soon. From what I understand, they are personal interviews with real-live Republicans, explaining why they feel there’s no way they can vote for Bush this time around. They’re apparently patterned after a famous commercial made by the Johnson campaign for the race against Goldwater, in which they had a “Republican” (although that time it was really an actor) go on for about 4 minutes about how he came to decide he couldn’t bring himself to vote for Goldwater. These they’re preparing now are with real people, some just plain old voters, and others more prominent people like retired generals and such. They may only run in the battleground states though, unfortunately…
