Romney: Another Big Government Conservative
CATO isn’t super excited about Romney’s health insurance scheme for lots of reasons. The fact that the new agency created by Romney to oversee the program is ripping off taxpayers and policy holders as a result of its bloated salary schedule is only one of them.

I have long noted that Romney actually lines up well with W in many ways, just with more articulateness. Of course, he’s a bit more — um — nuanced on some issues, but not too much more than W was during the 2000 campaign.

It pains me to say this but I am looking at the Democratic canidates and some of them have better policies then any republican… my vote is not for Romney.

Yes Derek, but which Dem will make the cut? This has been the problem lately for that party, they seem to throw very liberal wing candidates into the final presidential ring, and this has hurt them.
I believe that if it’s Clinton vs McCain, the outcome would be much worse for the Dems than Obama vs McCain. We’ll have to wait and see…
Get a final candidate that’s just a couple of light years closer to conservatism, and you’ll gobble up a lot more republican votes. Needless to say, perpetual liars should also be counted out…
…not to mention any names (ahemhillaryclinton).
