The Perfect Father’s Day Gift List
One of my favorite websites, Cooking for Engineers, published their list of Father’s Day gift suggestions. Anyone who wants to buy me something for Father’s Day should check it out!!!
(I especially like the Weber 22.5 inch Charcoal Kettle Grill and the Alton Brown cookbooks)

As the owner of 3 Weber kettle grills, I think every man needs at least 1.
Also, every man needs BBQ USA by Steven Raichlen. http://www.amazon.com/BBQ-USA-Recipes-Across-America/dp/0761120157/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-3751184-9482541?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1180554975&sr=1-1 On Saturday we cooked Green Lightning Shrimp. http://www.barbecuebible.com/featured/bbqu/bbq_u_green_lig.php It was great.

One more thing that all men need–a remote thermometer. How cool is a remote thermometer? You can sit inside, watch TV, or play World of Warcraft, and still pay attention to how the meat is doing on the grill. That’s good quality man activity right there.

This one is okay. I’m looking for a better one.

Cooking For Engineers has been one of my favorites for years. By the way, I totally recommend the Vitamix. We got one for Christmas a couple of years ago and it’s invaluable for easily making soups, sauces and dips. If you go to their website, you can find refurbs going for about $270 or so.
