No Property Tax Hike Without A Vote

I think Niederhauser might be on to something with this idea. Until I hear more specifics on the plan I won’t decide one way or the other but I’m inclined to support the idea of letting voters be the decision makers on tax increases instead of local government leaders.

  1. I have plenty of disagreements with Sen. Niederhauser (I’m in his district), but he’s highly responsive to e-mails I’ve sent and a pretty smart guy to boot. Oh yeah, and he’s an accountant. That doesn’t hurt when you’re in charge of the books.
